Booking Terms & Conditions

By reserving your place at Robert Hisee's The Holistic Retreat you are agreeing to the terms & conditions outlined below. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. 


Each inidividual guests' result will vary due to many factors including age, gender, health and metabolic age. Robert Hisee's The Holistic Retreat accepts no responsibility for guaranteeing any result, nor will any refund or reimbursement of money be given for not

meeting your personal expectations at the retreat. 


Booking & Payment

At the time of booking you will pay £500 deposit via bank transfer. You have the option to pay off the full balance at this time, or you may opt to pay the remainder of the balance in instalments during the period up to 8 weeks before. Only when your deposit is paid your booking is deemed reserved.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Full payment is required up to 8 weeks prior to your trip - It is your responsibility to make full payment up to 8 weeks before your reservation, without full payment your trip will not be guaranteed. If your booking is less than 8 weeks away, full payment will be required to secure your place.



Transfer of date may be possible up to 8 weeks before your booking at the discretion of The Holistic Retreat booking team. It is possible to change the name of the person attending up to 2 weeks before booking.


Cancellation Policy 

In the event that you need to cancel your booking, full payment will be payable if within 8 weeks before your booking. If cancelling before 8 weeks, deposit only will be lost. ​Participants who do not show up for activities or decid to leave mid-activities'  forfeit the full cost. 


Changes made by us

Robert Hisee's The Holistic Retreat tries it's best not to cancel a confirmed booking but reserve the right to do so. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a confirmed booking before your activity, you will be offered the choice of an alternative available date.

Robert Hisee's The Holistic Retreat cannot accept liability or pay any compensation (including the refund of any monies paid e.g. deposit etc) where the ability to perform our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss or expense of any nature, as a result of “force majeure”. In these booking terms and conditions, “force majeure” is defined as any unavoidable and/or extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, for which we (or our third party service providers) could not have avoided, even if all reasonable measures had been taken. This may include, whether actual or threatened - such events as war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, fire and other situations which are outside of our control. Clients are advised to take out adequate travel insurance to cover such eventualities.


Travel Insurance

All guest attending Robert Hisee’s The Holistic Retreat must have travel insurance that covers this type of activity holiday, cancellation and personal belonging cover. In the event of injury or change of circumstances that prevent you from attending the retreat, you will be charged as per cancellation policy. You should bring the policy with you in the case of an emergency.

Travel & Transfer

All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.

The scheduled airport shuttle service provided by The Holistic Retreat will under no circumstance be responsible in any way for missed flights, as it is a mere transportation service from point to point. Also, you must report any irregularities in your flight in good time. 

Medical Details

You are required to complete and declare any existing medical conditions that you are concerned about. If you have any current conditions that may be affected by physical activities you will need to check with your doctor to make sure you are suitable to take part. It is your responsibility to advise us of any medical health conditions that may affect your participation in our programme,


Your responsibility

We politely ask you to treat staff and other guests with respect. You are responsible for your actions. Any guests causing offence, distress, danger, damage or annoyance to either other guests, staff or property, we may terminate your booking with immediate effect. In the event that you make any damage to the villa or possessions within the villa, you will be responsible for payment of repair and/or replacement.

Our responsibility

We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, the threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.

We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Classes are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat. We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property.

We are not responsible for the proportion of male/female guests in any group. We are not responsible for the individual behaviour of any guest.


Should you be attending the retreat with an existing injury or you are unfortunate to pick up an injury whilst at the retreat please note the following:

Our trainers will do their best to adapt exercises in order for you to continue with the fitness sessions. Unfortunately, our programme cannot be changed to adapt to your injury, nor an alternative programme offered. If you are injured and require medical assistance throughout your trip, we will get you to a local hospital as soon as possible, you will be responsible for covering any cost of consultation/treatment that may be incurred. This should then be recovered through your travel insurance.


Problems & Complaints

If you have a complaint whilst at The Holistic Retreat you should report this to the team in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please refrain from sharing your complaint with other guests to save any possible negative impact on their trip. If your issue isn’t resolved and you wish to complain on your return, please email within 28 days from the day of arrival home so that we can work to resolve this.


Your Holiday

The Holistic Retreat programme is subject to change. Our programme varies from each retreat & month/time of year to keep the programme fresh and nonrepetitive. No week is the same, which is what makes us so unique. Some physical activities do contain elements of risk and you will be participating at your own risk. Robert Hisee’s The Holistic Retreat assumes no responsibility for persons who undertake physical activity, and if in doubt after completing this questionnaire, consult your doctor before taking part.
